Franklin Collao (b.1982, Tijuana, Mexico) currently lives and works between Lago di Como and Mexico City. As a contemporary artist, he is known for vibrant paintings, mastery of color, and perfect sfumatura, Collao’s special hand technique that renders oil paint as light and soft as air, producing a digital-like surface.
